Espisode 31: MS Excel & Outlook

Excel: Toggle Shortcut

Are you working with two or more Excel workbooks and using your mouse to go back and fourth between each workbook? Try using the following shortcut to make navigating between the workbooks easier.

Outlook: Conditional Format

Have you ever wanted certain messages to stand out? Try conditional formats. You can create formats for "Status Flags", people and even specific words in the subject line or message field.

  • Select the "View" tab
  • Select View Settings\Conditional Formating...
  • Select "Add" and name the function (Flagged, Web Update, etc..)
  • Setup your Font and Condition

Welcome to "Tips of the day"

I'm using this site to post some of the tips of the day (tods) that I've archive on our SharePoint site. This will make it easier for most of you (not on our sdcoe domain) to find older tods.

Hope they help,

Peter
